My name is saviah and I'm a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. I was born and raised here but my Caribbean heritage informs a lot of my work whether it be in the subject matter, the titles of my pieces or the bold colors I gravitate towards. 

     My creativity most often takes form as acrylic and mixed-media paintings, digital art, collaging sculpture, or fashion design. I’m very passionate about self expression and self-actualization. Love, escapism, intimacy, self-reflection, and Caribbean culture are themes that frequently occur in my work.

     I took a 4-year specialized arts program at Central Technical school before graduating Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Design, and then I went on to attend multiple courses and programs including the Remix Project. 

     Creatively, my main goal is for people to experience my creations as witty, innovative, thought-provoking and reflective of them and the world we live in today.
